Ashland Bluejay Baseball

The baseball program is for boys 7 years old to 18 years old.  Currently boys are placed on teams based on their birthdate following USSSA baseball governing rules.  The age divisions include:

Squirts (8U) - boys 7 or 8 years old.  This is a coach-pitch programs to teach the boys the fundamentals of baseball. 

Mustang (10U) - boys 9 or 10 years old. 

Bronco (12U) - boys 11 and 12 years old

Pony (14U) - boys 13 and 14 years old

The Squirt, Mustang, Bronco and Pony teams typically participate in the Cass County Baseball league with games in Ashland and other surrounding towns.


American Legion - High School players.

The availability of Select baseball teams is dependent on interest and availability of coaches.  These teams do not participate in the Cass County Baseball League but instead participate in individual games and tournaments.  Select teams are normally formed in late summer for the following summer ball season.  Register for Select teams ONLY if you are on a team and have been given a code by your coach.
