Registrations Extended to Sunday 2/6/2022!

Registration for the 2022 Baseball, Softball and T-Ball seasons is now open!!

Please log into your AYBA account and register your athletes now for the 2021 ball seasons.

- Registrations received after February 6th will include a $30 late Fee

- No Registrations will be accepted after February 14th unless approved by the AYBA Board of Directors.  Families moving into the area after February 15th will be eligible to register, please contact us at [email protected].

There are a couple changes you will notice from last year:

1.  There was a $20 increase in registration fees for all levels except for T-Ball due to increase costs in equipment, field supplies and umpire fees.  AYBA Registration Fees are still some of the lowest costs for playing ball in eastern Nebraska.

2.  No Good Faith (Volunteer) Deposits required.  The Board of Directors has decided to no longer collect an $80/family Good Faith Deposit for AYBA families.  The oversight, management and refund of these deposits had become a logistical nightmare for the AYBA Treasurer and Board of Directors in 2021.  AYBA will still need Volunteer's to help provide the youth of the Ashland and Greenwood communities with the best experience and best opportunity to learn, play and love the games of baseball, softball and t-ball.  Volunteers will still be needed for Field Cleanup Day, Field preparations, coaching and running the concession stand among other tasks in 2022.  We know that AYBA families will Step up to the Plate when volunteers are requested to help out around the ball fields!

3.  Also new this year is a discount for multiple players in a family.  The Family discount is $10 for the 2nd athlete, $15 for the 3rd athlete and $20 for the 4th or more athletes in each family.

FYI, The concession stand is the #1 source of income each year (in addition to local business sponsors)which help AYBA keep registration costs as low as possible.  Also, the concession stand is a great place for a hot dog and cool drink for dinner or popcorn and candy bar for a quick snack.

Various restrictions and safety protocols will continue to be followed in 2022 so that AYBA can provide the athletes in your family the chance to learn, love and play baseball, softball and t-ball again.  The health and safety of all athletes and their families is the highest priority for the AYBA Board of Directors when planning the 2022 season.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any AYBA Board Member or email [email protected] and we will try to respond as soon as possible.    Also, please tell any new friends, families and your new neighbors about AYBA registrations.

We look forward to seeing your child on the ballfields soon and as always PLAY BALL!!
