There will be a tryout for the 2023 USSSA 12u team on Wednesday, July 6th at 6:30 on Field B.   In following the lead of past teams, selections will be based primarily on evaluation from coaches during 2022 season along with the  tryout session on July 6th.  Criteria being used to make these selections include, in no order of importance.

-Attendance for games & practices

-Coachability: paying attention, behavior & improving based on coach's feedback

-Baseball Skills: hitting, fielding, throwing, running & understanding of baseball concepts

Players must have been 11 years old or younger on May 1st, 2022 OR be entering the 6th grade in the fall of 2022.  This will be a significant time & financial commitment.  Players will be expected to attend all practices & games arriving on time.  Practices may begin in the fall of 2022 & then again in February or March of 2023.  Games will begin in April.  We are planning to play around 30-40 games (which could include some tournaments).  This will be a competitive team so playing time will not be equal for all players.  The cost for this team could range between $200-$400 per player.  We will try to do a fundraiser to help offset some of the costs.

Any players not named to a USSSA team would still have the option to play in the EAA/AYBA leagues depending on their birthdate.
